In 1898, back when William Barker was a busy building up the Barkers Store in Northallerton high street, Ebenezer Gomme began creating his outstanding hand crafted furniture. It was his grandson, in 1953 that changed G Plan into the name we know today, throughout the decades G Plan has become one of the most recognised names in British homes.

It was back in the 70s that G Plan Upholstery was introduced to the Barker's shop floor and from there has gone from strength to strength the brand has now firmly established it’s self as one of our best sellers.
